Back in June, Super7 revealed their first wave of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Ultimate figures. The Ultimate line is a series of 7” figures made to order with tons of specific accessories and articulation. We first got the Green Ranger, Yellow Ranger, Goldar, Putty Patroller, and the Tyrannosaurus Dinozord.
And now, Super7 has just revealed their second wave of Ultimate figures for MMPR containing the Red Ranger, Pink Ranger, Rita Repulsa, King Sphinx, and the Dragonzord! Wave 2 will be available for pre-order until November 8 and is expected to ship out by late Summer 2022. Each figure will be priced for $55 at retail.

Somehow appearing in many of the original merchandise, King Sphinx is joining the Ultimates line too! You may have seen him in the Lightning Collection line only last year with mixed results. If you’re still wanting to add this classic villain to your collection, this might be the best option.

I Need Dragonzord Power, Now!
Arriving after hearing some sweet flute music, the Dragonzord is joining the Ultimates line! We’re definitely going to be seeing this Zord sometime in the future when Hasbro takes a turn at it, but for now, enjoy this almost perfect figure with actual missile fingers! (I say almost perfect because it’s missing a particular candy-cane-colored smokestack.)
