Zack Taylor is a teenager from Angel Grove that is recruited by Zordon after Rita Repulsa is freed from her Space Dumpster to become the Black Ranger. Zack is a skilled dancer, being able to mix martial arts and dancing into a new style called hip-hop kido. Zack also has a rational fear of spiders, freezing up whenever one comes into his view.
Adam Park, Mighty Morphin’ Black Ranger II

Adam Park is a student from Stone Canyon that learns the identity of the Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers after he is captured by Lord Zedd. He aids the Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers as a civilian until he becomes the Black Ranger after Zack Taylor leaves the team for a Peace Conference in Switzerland. After becoming the Black Ranger, he transfers to Angel Grove High School and teaches a martial arts class at the Angel Grove Youth Center, learning it as a child to help with his low self-esteem. Adam, despite being a skilled martial artist, has shy qualities, being afraid to ask a girl to a dance.
Abraham, Black Wild West Ranger

Abraham is an ancestor of Adam Park’s from the 1800s that becomes the Black Wild West Ranger when Rita & Zedd sends an army to invade Angel Grove in the 1800s.

Adam Park was one of the six teens chosen by Zordon to defend the Earth from evil as the Black Ranger. After Ivan Ooze damages the Command Center, which inevitably causes his powers to be destroyed, he travels with his team to the planet Phaedos to acquire The Great Power. He is given the spirit of the Frog after receiving his portion of The Great Power.
Corcus, Black Aquitian Ranger

Seasons: Mighty Morphin’ Alien Rangers, Power Rangers Zeo & Power Rangers In Space
Corcus is an Aquitian that was given his Black Alien Coin & Black Battle Borg by Ninjor and becomes the Black Aquitian Ranger. Corcus travels to Earth with his teammates after Master Vile uses the Orb Of Doom to regress the Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers to children and defend Angel Grove from Rita & Zedd. He is also given access to the Black Shogunzord. After the Zeo Crystal reverts time back to normal, Corcus returns to Aquitar.
Carlos Vallerte, Black Space Ranger

Carlos Vallerte is the former Green Turbo Ranger that travels into space after the Power Chamber is destroyed by Divatox in order to rescue Zordon from The United Alliance Of Evil. After boarding the Astro Megaship and meeting Andros, he joins forces with him and becomes the Black Space Ranger. Carlos has self-doubt due to one instance where he injures Cassie during a monster fight and also has a tendency to be careless, morphing in a photo booth, where a girl named Silvy uses them as blackmail.
Psycho Black

Seasons: Power Rangers In Space & Power Rangers Lost Galaxy
Psycho Black is the evil counterpart of the Black Space Ranger that is created by Astronema after she is given cybernetic implants. Psycho Black is the most cautious of the Psycho Rangers, questioning Psycho Red about disobeying Astronema’s orders. After Psycho Pink & Psycho Blue are destroyed, he teams up with Psycho Red & Psycho Yellow to destroy the Space Rangers while they are at their weakest, donning a human disguise to look around Angel Grove until the Space Rangers figure out their plan. He then transforms into a monstrous rock-themed form, growing giant and successfully captures the Mega Voyager, which is used to lure the Space Rangers into a trap where he fights the Delta Megazord & Mega Winger. He then teams up with his fellow Psycho Rangers in their monster forms to overpower the Space Rangers but is destroyed by a powerful blast from the Astro Delta Megazord, Mega Winger & Mega Voyager. His spirit lingers in the world due to his desire to destroy the Black Space Ranger until he is able to become corporeal after his spirit enters a machine used by Astronema in the Secret City. He then attempts to destroy the Black Space Ranger, transforming into his monster form until he is tricked into being turned into a Data Card. His Data Card is presumably lost in the destruction of the Secret City but is later seen in the possession of Astronema.
Mike Corbett, Magna Defender

Season: Power Rangers Lost Galaxy
Mike Corbett is a member of GSA that was ambushed by an army of Stingwingers while training on the moon. He goes through the portal and releases the Red Quasar Saber from its stone but falls through a crevice after handing the Red Quasar Saber to his brother, Leo. After being presumed dead, it is revealed that the Magna Defender had saved Mike and has been using his body to exact his revenge on Scorpius. Mike is eventually freed however and takes on the powers of the Magna Defender and returns to his job as a member of the GSA. While in the Lost Galaxy, Mike attempts to free some slaves from Captain Mutiny’s Slave Camp and sacrifices his powers so that Terra Venture could pass through a closing portal.
Danny Delgado, Black Wild Force Ranger

Season: Power Rangers Wild Force
Danny Delgado worked as a florist in a flower shop with a girl he liked named Kendall but is forced to quit after the Black Bison Wildzord chooses him to become the Black Wild Force Ranger. Danny is a shy person and lacks confidence unless a friend is able to boost his confidence. Danny has a close friendship with Max Cooper, the Blue Wild Force Ranger, due to them both lacking confidence and giving each other peep talks. After Danny and the Wild Force Rangers defeat Master Org, Danny decides to travel the world with Max Cooper.
Tommy Oliver, Black Dino Ranger

Tommy Oliver attends college after retiring as a Power Rangers, where he gains a degree in Paleontology. After graduating college, he worked with Anton Mercer to create the Tyrannodrones, Invisiportal, Bio Zords, and Raptor Riders. He also finds the Dino Gems, which he kept in a secret lab under his house. Some years later, Tommy gets a job at Reefside High School as a science teacher and eventually becomes a mentor to the current Power Ranger team, the Dino Rangers. Not too long after that, he is kidnapped by Mesogog’s force to release the Black Dino Gem and succeeds but uses it for his own uses to transform into the Black Dino Ranger. When harnessing the powers of the Black Dino Gem, Tommy is able to turn invisible. After an altercation with the evil White Dino Ranger, Tommy is frozen in amber until he is freed from it by a personality altering meteor. However, he is stuck in his suit until Hayley finds a way to de-morph him, which she is able to by using the Black Dino Gem.
Will Aston, Black Overdrive Ranger

Will Aston is hired by Andrew Hartford to find the Corona Aurora jewels due to his skills in espionage. Will is given the powers of the Black Overdrive Ranger and the genetic power of heightened senses. Will is a lone wolf of the team and also doubts himself when he loses a jewel to Miratrix & Kamdor. When all the Jewels of the Corona Aurora are found, Will decides to train a team of spies to help him in his espionage work.
Bat Spirit Ranger

The Bat Spirit Ranger is created from Master Swoop’s Bat Animal Spirit and can either be summoned by him or Theo Martin to aid in fights against the Dai Shi Clan.
Dillon, Ranger Operator Series Black

Dillon is an amnesiac Venjix Hybrid who is first seen traveling The Wasteland. There he meets and befriends Ziggy who helps him travel to Corinth where he is arrested by Colonel Truman after learning he has Venjix Robotic Implants inside him. He is released from prison after Doctor K recruits him to become Ranger Operator Series Black. After he starts to remember some parts of his pasts, he remembers that he has a sister that turns out to be Tenaya 7. After defeating Venjix, Dillon travels the world with Summer & Tenaya.
Jake Holling, Black Megaforce Ranger

Jake Holling is a student at Harwood County High School and was one of the five teenagers chosen by Gosei to become the new protectors of the Earth. Due to his athletic skills, Jake is chosen to become the Black Megaforce Ranger. Jake has a great interest in soccer and a greater interest in Gia Moran, the Yellow Megaforce Ranger.
Chase Randall, Black Dino Charge Ranger

Chase Randall is a native of New Zealand that works in the Dino Bite Cafe at the Amber Beach Dinosaur Museum. After receiving the Black Energem from Moana after saving her cat, Chase bonds with it and becomes the Black Dino Charge Ranger. Chase is the hotshot of the group, usually choosing to use the Dino Charge Morpher in battle. When he’s not fighting as a Power Ranger, Chase is usually hitting on girls or riding his skateboard. Chase eventually starts ups a relationship with a girl named Kaylee, which becomes a daunting task to keep his heroic identity secret. However, during a monster attack, Kaylee sees Chase morph into the Black Ranger and from then on, the two are able to be more open with each other.

Zack Taylor is a loner, rarely attending classes at Angel Grove High School due to him having to take care of his sick mother. He is present when Billy blow up the side of a cliff that contains the Power Coins and takes the Black Power Coin, becoming the Black Ranger.
Vesper Vasquez, Black Hyperforce Ranger

Vesper Vasquez is a student at Time Force Academy that becomes the Black Hyperforce Ranger after Time Force Academy is attacked by the Alliance Leader. Vesper is the jokester of the group, cracking jokes even in the middle of a fight. During a mission in the RPM Dimension, it is revealed that Vesper is an android and later learns that she was created by Doctor Ferricks before he was killed by Ransik. After learning that she is an android, Vesper gains the ability to create holographic projections and gains the ability to infect mechanical devices with the Venjix Virus after being infected. Vesper also develops feelings for Eddie Banks but their budding relationship is put on hold to uphold their mission. Vesper’s body is completely decimated by the Alliance Leader during a fight with him and temporarily shares a body with Alpha 55 until a new body for her is created during the final battle with The Alliance.
Javi Garcia, Black Dino Fury Ranger

Javi Garcia is an aspiring musician and the son of Warden Garcia, who is unaccepting of his musical endeavors. He is also the step brother of Izzy Garcia, with the two having a very close bond. When Javi Garcia needs money for a keytar, he applies for a journalist job at BuzzBlast, getting an assignment on the Nephrite Orb, which is stolen by Boomtower until he gets it back from him, smashing it to release the Black Dino Key, making him the Black Dino Fury Ranger. Javi Garcia is very experimental with music, with him trying to find different sounds by playing different instruments. He is eventually fed up with the criticism he constantly gets from his father, calling him out for this until he witnesses his son perform, with him apologizing for not accepting him in his music endeavors.
Zack Taylor, Mighty Morphin’ Black Ranger I

Zack Taylor is one of the original Angel Grove five teens chosen by Zordon to become the Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers, becoming the Black Ranger. After retiring as a Power Rangers, it is revealed that Zack became a congressman until he steps down to raise Trini Kwan’s daughter, Minh Kwan after she is killed by Robo Rita. After Robo Rita returns from the Dark Dimension, he teams up with a mixed team of Power Rangers to stop Robo Rita from using a time machine to destroy their younger selves in the past. He then returns to his normal life with Minh after defeating Robo Rita.
Javi Garcia, Black Cosmic Fury Ranger

Season: Power Rangers Cosmic Fury
Javi Garcia, the Black Dino Fury Ranger is called to duty once again after Lord Zedd escape his crystal imprisonment on Zordnia. During the fight on Zordnia, he is given Master Red’s Staff, which leads him to an alter containing new zords. He ultimately decides to be the one to place the Master Staff inside the alter to unlock the zords, with the energy from it causing him to lose one of his arms. When the team returns to Earth however, he is given a Rafkonian Arm that takes him some time to get use to due its strength. After Lord Zedd destroy his connection to the Morphin Grid, the Stego Statue, he is given new powers by Billy Cranston, becoming the Black Cosmic Fury Ranger. Javi laments over the loss of his arm for a while due to its power not letting him play music the same way but eventually finds a new way of playing music. After Lord Zedd is defeated, he is seen performing at the Victory Concert on Earth.
