Despite most comic relief characters being good or neutral character, some villains can be characterized as comic relief characters.
This article will list every comic relief villain character in the many decades of the Power Rangers legacy.
Comedic Villains
Squatt & Baboo
Voiced By: Michael Sorich & Dave Mallow
Seasons: Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers, Mighty Morphin’ Alien Rangers & Power Rangers Zeo
Squatt & Baboo are the two bumbling henchmen of Rita & Zedd. The two aid their masters in any way they can, with their attempts usually backfiring.
Rito & Goldar
Voiced By: Kerrigan Mahan & Bob Papenbrook
Seasons: Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers, Mighty Morphin’ Alien Rangers & Power Rangers Zeo
Rito & Goldar were once fierce and loyal fighters serving Rita & Zedd until their memories were erased, with the two becoming servants to Bulk & Skull until their memories are restored. They return to serve their master, with them taking the roles left vacant by Squatt & Baboo.
Elgar
Voiced By: Derek Stephen Prince
Seasons: Power Rangers Turbo & Power Rangers In Space
Elgar is the bumbling nephew of Divatox that survived being thrown into the pit of fire as a sacrifice for reviving Maligore. He joins Divatox’s Crew as they set their sights in conquering Earth, being given minor tasks by Divatox to progress her plans, like setting detonators or leading a troops of Piranhatrons in fighting the Turbo Rangers. Elgar is given the Terrorzord to pilot to fight the Rescue Megazord but its arm would fall off in its first fight and is forced to retreat. He pilots the Terrorzord again after its fixed but it is turned into a camel by Mister Goorific. Elgar is responsible for finding the location of the Power Chamber with Rygog and leads the army of Piranhatron that siege the Power Chamber. He is also responsible for destroying Zordon & Dimitria’s Plasma Tube and setting the bombs that ultimately destroy the Power Chamber. Elgar then accompanies Divatox when she leaves Earth to attend a conference held by Dark Specter. He is later transferred to Astronema’s Army by Dark Specter, aiding her in fighting the Space Ranger. He is destroyed by Zordon’s Energy Wave.
Gluto

Season: Power Rangers Time Force
Gluto is a toad-like mutant criminal that was on the verge of being cryogenically frozen at the Cryo Prison before Ransik took it over, swearing his loyalty to Ransik and tries in any way he can to help Ransik accomplish his goals. Gluto has a crush on Nadiria, much to her chagrin, and constantly attempts to gain her favor. During Ransik’s final attack on Silver Hills, Gluto decides to freeze himself temporarily until things blew over. However, the Cryo Prison is left abandoned and Gluto remained cryogenically frozen.
Toxica
Played By: Sin Wong
Season: Power Rangers Wild Force
Toxica is a human-looking female Duke Org that eagerly waited with her cohort, Jindrax for the rebirth of Master Org, offering her services to him once he presumably returns. Toxica is skilled in the art of magic, being able to resurrect fallen Orgs and making them grow giant. After witnessing Master Org rearranging his horn, she starts to grow suspicious of him and uses the crown of the General Org, Nayzor to transform into Necronomica for a short time in defense. After learning of Master Org’s true identity, she is brainwashed and transformed into a more monstrous being known as Super Toxica. After being freed from her brainwashing, she resurrects the General Org, Mandilok to rule over the Org Empire for a short time. After Mandilok loses patience with her, she is persuaded by the Duke Org, Onikage to cut off her own horn so that the water on the Animarium will not affect her when she kidnaps Princess Shayla. She is then used as a shield by Mandilok when the Wild Force Rangers are about to blast him with the Jungle Blaster, with her spirit being sent to the Org Spirit World for a short time. She is resurrected though by her friend, Jindrax, with the two aiding the Wild Force Rangers in rescuing Princess Shayla. After this last mission is complete, Toxica & Jindrax decide to travel the world to find purpose.
Jindrax
Voiced By: Richard Cansino & Danny Wayne Stallcup
Season: Power Rangers Wild Force
Jindrax is a knife-wielding Duke Org that eagerly waited with his cohort, Toxica for the rebirth of Master Org, offering his services to him once he presumably returns. Jindrax is the self-entitled Master Of Blades, being skilled in the art of sword fighting. After learning of Master Org’s true identity, he is brainwashed and transformed into a more monstrous being known as Super Jindrax. After being freed from his brainwashing, he resurrects the General Org, Mandilok to rule over the Org Empire for a short time. He also teams up with his brother, Juggelo for a short time after being called useless by Mandilok. After Toxica is destroyed by Mandilok, he questions his role in the Org Empir and decides to resurrect his friend after she communicates with him through a mirror. After aiding the Wild Force Rangers in rescuing Princess Shayla, Toxica & Jindrax decide to travel the world to find purpose.
Marah
Played By: Katrina Devine
Season: Power Rangers Ninja Storm
Marah is the niece of Lothor and the sister of Kapri that was sent to Lothor by her parents to aid him in capture and destroy all the Ninja Academies on Earth. Despite Marah’s bumbling and ditsiness, Marah is a capable fighter and ninja, being able to create shields and wraps her opponents in an energy whip summoned from her glasses. To prove herself in being evil and capable, Marah pretends to defect from the Evil Space Ninjas and tricks Dustin Brooks, the Yellow Wind Rangers into charging a device to power her friend, Beevil. After the bounty hunter, Vexacus joins the Evil Space Ninjas and starts destroying Lothor’s general, Marah reveals that she was pretending to be bumbling and ditzy and was actually intelligent, creating a piloting the Marahzord to fight the Wind Rangers, Thunder Ranger & Green Samurai alongside Kapri & Shizmazu. During Lothor’s attempt in opening the Abyss Of Evil, Marah is left for dead on Lothor’s Lairship and is saved by the her cousin, Cam Watanabe, the Green Samurai Ranger and enlists in the Wind Ninja Academy alongside her sister, Kapri.
Kapri

Season: Power Rangers Ninja Storm

Choobo

Season: Power Rangers Ninja Storm
Choobo is a bumbling lieutenant in Lothor’s Army that was in charge of capturing Ninja Academy students into balls of energy. Choobo is promoted to general after succeeding in capturing the Thunder Rangers and brainwashing them in becoming evil. He sends them alongside the Wind Rangers to a deserted island where he sends his monster Super Toxipod to take care of them. After he fails, Choobo is banished by Lothor and decides to destroy the Wind Rangers & Thunder Rangers himself and steals a Scroll Of Empowerment to accomplish this goal. Once grown, he is destroyed by the newly formed Thunderstorm Megazord. He is resurrected however but is shrunken down and given to Marah as a pet. He is accidentally regrown to normal size by Lothor’s PAM and resumes his role in Lothor’s Army. During Lothor’s final battle against the Wind Rangers, he is sent to the Abyss Of Evil along with the rest of Lothor’s Army.
Norg
Played By: Kelson Henderson
Season: Power Rangers Operation Overdrive
Norg is a yeti that has his Ice Den commandeered by Flurious after he arrives on Earth. Norg attempts to befriend Flurious and gain his favor by stealing the Blue Sapphire from Kamdor for Flurious. After Flurious obtains the Corona Aurora and its jewel, Flurious order his Chillers to destroy him and Tyzonn’s fiancée, Vella. However, Norg survives this altercation and escorts Vella to reunite with Tyzonn and takes up residence at Hartford Mansion.
Flit
Voiced By: Kelson Henderson
Season: Power Rangers Jungle Fury
Flit was originally a human warrior that fought in The Beast War and turned into a fly by Camille after he throws Larva Dust on him and attempted to eat him in the process. However, Flit survives being eaten and is able to escape Camille’s stomach to commentate on giant battle but is unable to stay away from her for long periods of time. Flit assists the Jungle Fury Rangers a few times, attempting to assist RJ in freeing him of his werewolf side and saving the Crystal Eye containing Master Finn. After The Final Beast War ends, Camille reverses the curse she placed him under, transforming him back into a human, where he starts working as an employee at Jungle Karma Pizza.
General Crunch

Season: Power Rangers RPM
General Crunch is a ditzy Attack Bot eagerly served the Venjix Computer Network in any way he could, even if his plans were a little on the weird side. Despite his bumbling and ditziness, General Crunch is a capable fighter in the field of battle, being able to got toe-to-toe with Tenaya 15 before his untimely demise in the destruction of Corinth’s Control Tower.
Poisandra

Seasons: Power Rangers Dino Charge, Power Rangers Dino Super Charge, Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel & Power Rangers Beast Morphers
Poisandra is the heart-shaped alien fiancée of Sledge that will do anything in her power to marry Sledge. Poisandra is a capable fighter, wielding a heart-shaped axe in battle and is a decent strategist, being able come up with plans to obtain the Energems. Poisandra also has a fierce rivalry with Fury and the two often throw insults at each other. Poisandra is eventually fed up with Sledge’s plans and threatens to leave, but stays after he promises he’d marry her after he obtains one more Energem. This wouldn’t come to fruition due to Sledge presumably being killed in the ship’s crash to Earth, with Poisandra working Heckyl and later Lord Aracanon to stay alive. After Sledge is revealed to be alive, Poisandra grills him for his trickery but forgives him after the two get married. Shortly after getting married, Poisandra gets sucked into a portal created by the Dark Energem to the Main Dimension. However, a past version of Poisandra is destroyed after the Dino Charge Rangers hurl Sledge’s Spaceship into the Sun.
Curio

Season: Power Rangers Dino Charge, Power Rangers Dino Super Charge & Power Rangers Beast Morphers
Curio is a stitched scarecrow-like creature created by Wrench from spare monsters parts to give Poisandra a companion while Sledge was busy trying to obtain the Energems. Despite Curio’s child-like personality, he is a capable fighter, wielding a red toy hammer in battle. After Sledge is presumably destroyed in the ship’s crash to Earth, Curio begins to work for Heckyl and later Lord Arcanon to stay alive. After Sledge returns from his globe traveling adventure, Curio attends Sledge & Poisandra’s Wedding before getting sucked into a portal created by the Dark Energem to the Main Dimension.
Mucus
Played By: Torum Heng
Season: Power Rangers Dino Fury
Mucus is a green slime/mushroom-themed Sporix Beast that has the ability to transform into slime and reform after being attacked, making her nearly indestructible. Mucus later joins Void Knight’s Crew and assists Void Knight in finding unhatched Sporix Beasts, obtaining defeated Sporix and gaining intel on the Dino Fury Rangers. While attempting to kidnap Doctor Akana, she falls into a portal to the Dark Dimension with Slyther by Reaghoul and is trapped there for a time. She eventually escapes the Dark Dimension and returns on Christmas where she steals Santa’s Magic Sketchbook and attempt to blow up Dinohenge with a bomb to make the Dino Fury Rangers pay for presumably destroying Void Knight. Mucus returns to the services of Void Knight after it is revealed that he survived his altercation with the Dino Fury Rangers and later serves Void Queen after she takes over Area 62. Mucus is temporarily transformed into a human being by the Sporix Beast Hexcurio, which she uses to trick the Dino Fury Rangers into making wishing on his Wish Charm, which curse three of them until Hexcurio is destroyed by the Dino Fury Rangers, turning her back to normal to her utter delight. After Void Queen successfully obtains all of the Sporix, Mucus is absorbed into the cocoon that becomes the Nemesis Beast until it is destroyed by the Red Dino Fury Ranger, with Mucus becoming the last free Sporix Beast due to her hiding under a rock when the Morphin’ Masters imprisoned all of the Sporix Beast inside a crystal prison. She is then revealed to have reunited with Slyther, taking a human disguise and touring around the world in Doctor Sly’s Magical Mushroom Circus.
Slyther
Voiced By: Campbell Cooley
Season: Power Rangers Dino Fury
Slyther is a bishop/ringmaster-themed robotic general created by Mucus that has the ability to shapeshift into anyone he desires. He uses this power to disguise himself as a Rafkonian named Arla in order to get the Sporix housed in Dinohenge. Zayto eventually sees through this deceit and forces him out of Dinohenge. Slyther later takes on the form of Roostafa to grow giant but is taken down by the Dino Fury Megazord Warrior Formation, with his memory completely erased. Slyther later uses his shapeshifting powers to disguise himself as Izzy’s friend, Adrian when he assumes she has a crush on him in order to capture her and take her form to take the Sporix Container from Dinohenge. This plan would fail however but he uses Adrian as leverage to obtain the Sporix Container. His next plan is to disguise himself as a man named Mister Whiz to give Ollie a new laptop in order to hack Doctor Akana’s sub drone and use that to bring the pod containing the Gold Dino Fury Ranger to shore. After the Gold Dino Fury Ranger is joins his team, he disguises himself as a party host to entice Aiyon to summon the Mosa Razor Zord so that he could capture it and turn it evil, but fails. While attempting to kidnap Doctor Akana, he falls into a portal to the Dark Dimension with Mucus by Reaghoul and is trapped there for a time. He eventually escapes the Dark Dimension and return on Christmas, where he steals Santa’s Magic Sketchbook and attempt to blow up Dinohenge with a bomb to make the Dino Fury Rangers pay for presumably destroying Void Knight. Slyther eventually returns to the services of Void Knight after it is revealed that he survived his altercation with the Dino Fury Rangers and later serve Void Queen after she takes over Area 62. During Void Queen’s Final Attack, he is tasked with guarding Area 62 and fights Amelia Jones when she attempts to sneak inside to discover the identity of her parents. He then retreats after the rest of the Dino Fury Rangers arrive, laying low until Void Queen and the rest of the Sporix Beast are defeated by the Dino Fury Rangers. He later takes on a human disguise known as Doctor Sly and reunites with Mucus to open up Doctor Sly’s Magical Mushroom Circus.
Squillia Shar Livia Naire

Season: Power Rangers Cosmic Fury
Squillia Shar Livia Naire is the daughter of Bajillia Naire and a social media influencer with over ten billion followers, using the intergalactic war led by Lord Zedd as a way to release viral content. After Lord Zedd sets his sights on Earth, she is sent there to assist Omwhyzo in the invasion. She eventually travels to Eltar to reveal her newest crush, Heckyl to everyone before returning to Earth to feed information to Heckyl, who is revealed to be working as a spy for the rebellion. Heckyl attempts to take her down but Squillia is able to hold her own and sends him to Zedd’s Prison in Pine Ridge. She later teams up with Omwhyzo after the Cosmic Fury Rangers and their allies are released from Zedd’s Prison, with her being captured and put to sleep by Sleepy Cuffs. The Rafkonian Rangers attempts to read her mind to gain some important info to no avail, with Bajillia finding their secret base by tracking her phone. She is woken up by her mother and teams up with her to fight the Cosmic Fury Rangers but is destroyed after being hit by barrage of attacks from the Cosmic Fury Rangers.
