Welcome back! Today we find Akira making “adjustments” on the Build Ressha and Ticket is not pleased about this!
LET’S MAKE AKIRA LAUGH?!
At the Shadow Line base, I’m literally terrified. This Jack-in-the-Box Shadow is terrifying looking. Grita really went for the creepy factor this week.
ZED KNOWS THAT GRITA AND GENERAL SCHWARZ WANT TO GET IT ON. WTF. HOLY CRAP!!
To make Akira smile/laugh, the team cross-dresses. Right is so feminine, it’s perfect. And Tokatti, lord. Update: Akria doesn’t laugh.
Jack-in-the-Box Shadow gets people to laugh at weird things and then springs those people to stop laughing? Anyways, guy in underwear is hot and why can’t this happen on Power Rangers? hahaha jkjk.
A Crow serving up some realness for giggles with Right.
The dancing sumo wrestlers finally make the whole team laugh and they all get springed, except Akira.
Akira almost destroys Jack-in-the-Box, but escapes instead. He then finds a sad little girl with a box which makes him smile…
The rest of the ToQgers are upset that they couldn’t stop laughing, so Mr. Conductor puts them through an improv comedy camp. They can’t make normal people laugh…
Jack-in-the-Box is back and the team transforms with a pretty funny ending sequence. I laughed at the ending. haha
Akira enters with a recorder solo because he lost his harmonica. This sends everybody into laughter, even Jack-in-the-Box!
Akira transforms and Right sulks on the staircase because he wasn’t funny. REALLY BITCH. COME ON.
HE TURNS WHITE FROM SADNESS. SORE LOSER UGHHHHH. But we do get a really great Red transfer sequence since Right gave Kagura his ressha.
Akira makes the final strike with his Yudo Breaker Drill attack.
Jack-in-the-Box grows and the team calls upon all three megazords. Jack makes a Darkliner Robo Shadow Express. haha
So pretty.
While Akira is still laughing (WTF?), Build Dai-Oh makes his final attack on Jack-in-the-Box with his Bucket Break!
Apparently Akira was laughing because there was a kitten in the cockpit. PLEASE LET THIS EPISODE BE TRANSLATED INTO POWER RANGERS. I want to see them deal with a cat in a megazord.
Akira has to give the cat back to the little girl with a box. Akira is sad and suicidal again. YAY. lol
On another note, Baron Nero calls out Madame Noire’s marriage plans for Grita. I’m really loving the Shadow Line foreshadows for next week’s marriage episode!
We leave the ToQgers with another funny pose and I truly hope Wagon in the back is a whisper to her being Violet (ToQ0). PLEASE GAWD.
Review
The Shadow Line foreshadowing for next week was killer, but the rest of the episode was strange. I found some parts to be legitimately funny (poses), and then I find the monster to be creepy and stupid/just to get the ToQgers to do more comedy. Another thing: Right really pissed me off in this episode. If that whole childish to mature adult thing doesn’t happen soon, he is going to kill this season. It’s annoying that for two years in a row we have an annoying Red, but for completely different reasons (brave/cocky vs selfish). Then again, kind of related. I enjoyed the megazord scene and guy in underwear a lot though! A pretty good episode: 7 out of 10.
Next week: a wedding, and shit is going down!
