The Top 13 Villains That Should’ve Been Action Figures!

coollogo_com-11145438

Lately I have been so obsessed with collecting Power Ranger Villain Figures from all of the seasons!
As I’ve collected the Monsters, Foot Soldiers and Villains I have noticed that a lot of really cool villains that never got a figure.
For example, before 2010 Rita Repulsa was just a prototype ditched in 1993, sadly Scorpina was also a prototype that never saw production.
Typically, there are 1-2 Villains released during a season’s run including a Foot Soldier. (sometimes none.)
Lately with Dino Charge we’re seeing released many of the main villains and even Monsters of the Day!
Think for a moment that these Figures mentioned below received a Legacy release; here are my top 13 Choices for Villains that Should Have Been Figures!

Power_Rangers_Megaforce_logo#13: Metal Alice

Metal Alice

Metal Alice was Vrak’s sad robotic pawn during the ending episodes of Megaforce but she was still a bad ass warrior! Metal Alice got the best of the Megaforce Rangers more than once and showed how powerful she can be! Metal Alice would be a beautiful figure with the contrast of the Indigo and Green perhaps with a opalescent shine to her paint!
Possible Accessories: Computer Pad that transforms into a mighty blade!

PR_Lightspeed_Rescue_logo#12: Vypra

Vypra

Vypra was the vindictive and treacherous servant of Queen Bansheera and the demons under Mariner Bay.
While she went rogue a few times, Vypra was still a powerful foe to the Rangers and even caused a bit of trouble for the Time Force Rangers as well!
The figure would come complete with glowing white eyes and her wicked bat wings!
Possible Accessories: Battle Wings & Sword, Vypari, Complete with Surpriiiiiised Expression

JF_Logo#11: The Overlords

The Overlords of the Sky, Land and Sea rocked Jungle Fury and are three of the best designed villains during that season! Mostly, I would really love a Jellica Figure, her design is amazing! Carnisoar and Grizzaka would most likely come along with her, perhaps in a three-pack!
Possible Accessories: Crystal EyesJellica’s Staff

PR_Lightspeed_Rescue_logo#10: Olympius

Prince Olympius

Olympius was not only a intrinsic part of Lightspeed Rescue he was also a fabulously designed villain. Olympius was a fierce rival to the Lightspeed Rangers but had a tiny bit of Mommy issues! I could picture the paint on this figure metallic to give him that Olympius shine!
Possible Accessories: Large Wings, Staff, Diabolico’s Star Power and a Tiny Version of Impus swaddled in his red blanket.

Logo-prss#9: Serrator

Serrator

Serrator was surely a sassy villain who took on the Samurai Rangers. He had sharp nails and flowing robes with skeleton arm pads!
While Deker and Master Xandred got figures made from this season, Serrator who gave the Rangers a run for their money more than Deker, was left out!
Possible Accessories: Interchangeable hand blades, Broken Shamisen & Uramasa, a library of sass.

Mystic_Force_Logo#8: Imperious

Imperious

Everyone loves a sassy villain, as you’ve seen above, and Imperious was one of the best and snarky characters in Mystic Force!
In a show where the villains are basically cardboard cutouts of their  Sentai counterparts, Imperious stood out amongst them all! Twirl those fans!
Possible Accessories: Bladed Fan & Light Up Collar

SPD_Logo#7: Emperor Gruumm

Emperor Gruumm

Emperor Gruumm may not have been the best master villain, but he was still an awesome original design for the series. I am really really surprised that none of the main villains, besides some Broodwing variations, never got figures! SPD was a season of some pretty interesting monsters with their very own Mecha! But I know that many people who love SPD would pick up a Legacy Emperor Gruumm figure!
Possible Accessories: Staff & Broken Horn

PR_Operation_Overdrive_logo#6: Thrax

While may fans are not huge fans of Operation Overdrive, or Thrax for that matter, many of us can agree that Once A Ranger was a small light in the season. A Small light.
However, while Moltor & Kamdor both got figures, I was surprised that the huge anniversary 2-parter’s villain (who is the son of Rita and Zedd) did not get a figure! Wouldn’t it have been epic for this figure to come with both Zedd and Rita’s staffs? I mean that’s a lot of power!
Too bad his Mom is Mystic Mother now!
Possible Accessories: Lord Zedd’s Staff & Rita Repulsa’s headache.

Power_Rangers_In_Space_Logo#5: Darkonda

Darkonda

Another surprise snub was Darkonda. It was rather strange that he played such a huge part during the series that only Ecliptor received a figure during this time period. I mean, he kidnapped Karone and then destroyed Dark Specter!
Possible Accessories: Sheet of Spent Lives, Ecliptor Armor (for Darkliptor) why not.

PR_Lost_Galaxy_logo#4: Trakeena

Female villains tend to get the crap end of the stick, but what was even more bothersome was that the show’s main villain was snubbed for a figure! Either her standard Purple suit or  her Powerful Green Bug version would make amazing figures!
Lesser known or important characters, such as Captain Mutiny and Barbarax who were barely in the show at all received figures!
How epic would it be to have a Trakeena figure and the be able to transform her in the cocoon!?
Possible Accessories: Snap On Bug Armor, Cocoon

PR_Lost_Galaxy_logo#3: The Psycho Rangers / Psycho Pink

Whenever I think of the most wanted figures in the Power Rangers Universe, I immediately think of the Psycho  Rangers. Another mistep for both the makers of the “In Space” and “Lost Galaxy” toy lines. I do know that if the team of 5 Psycho Rangers were released as Legacy Figures they would be beautiful!
If we were to only get one Psycho Ranger, I would nominate Psycho Pink. She not only had a hand in destroying Kendrix but she powerfully went up against both Cassie and Kendrix! Psycho Pink would be an amazing figure on her own, but Legacy Psycho Ranger Figures would be up everyone’s alley!
Possible Accessories: Psycho Weapons and the Savage Sword for Psycho Pink.

PR_RPM_logo#2: Kilobyte

Kilobyte

Kilobyte was the swarthy rival of Tenaya 7 and had a barbed tongue like many of the villains on our list. Again, what surprises me about the RPM line is that NO Villains, besides the Grinders, were made into figures! Even Crunch, Shifter and Venjix were left in the cold and their suits would’ve made amazing action figures; especially all of Venjix’s forms!
But, I picked Kilobyte of all the Villains because his suit design is so cool and the character is played so wickedly!
Possible Accessories: Gun, Sword, Snark and a Bad Attitude

Power_Rangers_In_Space_Logo#1: Astronema

You Don’t Know Her? SHE’S ASTRONEMA!
I really do feel robbed that we never saw an Astronema Figure! She is one of my most iconic Female Villains and so perfect for a toy too!
Astronema has different interchangeable wigs, a fabulous staff and awesome body armor!
Divatox, Rita and Camille all have figures and it feels strange to me that the Queen of All Evil was never given one!
Possible Accessories: The Wrath Staff, Interchangeable Wigs, Karone’s Locket
