Update: Rick has been released and the Murder charges have been dropped until the DA re-examines the case.
The Facts are Not all Known Yet, However everyone deserves a fair trial.
Last Night the news broke that Former-Ranger Rick Medina, best known in the Ranger fandom as Cole from Wild Force (and Deker from Samurai) has been arrested and charged with the murder of his roommate, Joshua Sutter
The weapon in question was a sword that was plunged into the deceased’s stomach causing death.
It has been stated so far that Medina was acting in self-defense of himself and his girlfriend.
“According to law enforcement … Medina retreated to his bedroom with his girlfriend — but Sutter forced his way into the bedroom … and that’s when Medina allegedly stabbed him once in the abdomen with the sword.”
At the time of this writing Medina is still in jail with Bail set at $1 Million.
All I have to say is that I am a fan of Rick Medina from his work as Cole on Wild Force, Deker from Samurai and from meeting him back in 2012.
Innocent until proven guilty. That is all I’ll say.
