TOOT-TOOT RESSHA SENTAI TOQGER. Let’s go! Today’s episode is entitled: “Uncool is Cool”
We start out with Mio handing out her special omelet sandwiches, but Hikari doesn’t want one. This makes Tokatti mad (he has feelings for her…?) and says a mean thing to Hikari. Hikari sulks and Tuna-Q sounds like the next special ressha. haha jkjk
At the Dark Line base, Marquise Mork is moving into the castle to help Zed grow in darkness. He sends Madame Noire on dark energy collecting and talks smack to Barone Nero for doing nothing.
Side thought: Our friend Ray, Database master here at MorphinLegacy, thinks that Madame Noire’s eaten husband is the bird on her hat/head. I really like that thought.
To collect darkness, Madame Noire plucks a feather out of her head and sends them into peoples’ heads which makes them go ballistic!
Akira takes on Madame Noire as the other ToQgers take on Crows and pluck feathers out of deranged peoples’ heads.
Madame Noire sends feathers to attack the ToQgers, but Akira destroys all except one. The lone feather attaches to Right, sending him on a warpath against his fellow teammates! The other ToQgers flea from a possessed Right.
Mork explains to Zed that rather then being drawn to the ToQgers’ shining, he needs to draw them in….
Kagura and Mio as well as Hikari and Tokatti have found all of the deranged people. On the walk back to the Rainbow Line, Hikari points out to Tokatti that he likes Mio. Tokatti’s reaction is priceless.
Akira ran and ran and ran for his death against Right, but he tires himself out before he finds him. lol The suit actor deserves an award for his flailing. haha
The ToQgers take on Right one last time. The plan is to take out pent up aggression on Right, like Right squirting milk in Tokatti’s face.
Or Right not putting on clothes in front of the girls. haha They are able to subdue him and pluck the feather out.
Right uses the Hyper power-up to take on Madame Noire, but she fleas and sends Darkliner Robos to fight them instead. A second-wind Akira and Build Dai-Oh show-up on the scene to take on the Darkliner Robos.
The team uses all their resshas in the Grand Turntable Cannon to use “5-Connection Shot” to destroy the Darkliners from the ground.
Back at the Rainbow Line, Tokatti gets Hikari not to say anything about Tokatti liking Mio. (At the Shadow Line castle, Madame Noire could see Grita in Zed’s reflection still.)
I loved the last scene because Hikari is eating pudding out of Ticket’s helmet. haha
Review
This episode was all over the place. From Mork moving into the castle, to Right being possessed, to Tokatti liking Mio, the episode’s tone was a little discombobulated. I like the cannon’s team attack as well as the humor ToQger is known for, but the episode felt like a plot moving episode that never really moved? I give this episode a 6 out of 10 because I feel like it could have been done better. Next week, Schwarz joins the ToQgers?!
