This is a special review of the movie “Voltasaur Team Kyoryuger – 100 Years After.”
Have you guys missed our dinosaur team? Maybe? haha Let’s see what happens in the future!
We start today’s movie from the ending of Kyoryuger, with the team running to their glowing zords. All smiles, bravery, and shit.
100 years after this win, old monsters from Kyoryuger come through a portal with paramonsters, attacking the city.
Fancy coats and stuff!
They dance like crap and morph into three blue, two grey, and violet. Future Utchy’s gay sass is life.
The theme song and opening has been updated with the new colors, zords, and new personas. They fight badly and it tires them.
The two monsters school them on their dull, repetitive team colors.
Two more monsters join and we have Debo Itsspringtime, Summertime, ItsautumnSneldo, and Itswinter, forming The Seasons Beatings Team! WOW.
A new age Deboss Legion arrives with The Thousand Face Priest Ghaos, Sneldo (Dogold), Hoshigaron (Aigaron), and Athreban (new commander).
They been hiding and shit. Right before the new age Kyoryugers were attacked, Bragigas saves them!
In the spirit base, Candelira (“Miss Paragon”) and Luckiero (“Apprentice Paragon”) explain that they picked warriors who looked like the ones from the past and were also kids of the old Kyoryugers. What happened to their skills! *KEEP SMILING*
Luckiero explains the morphing dance. hahahaha And gives them the random batteries they could find. The team disbands, but Nossan believes in his color! Dai and Ami have a weird sexual, family convo and it creeps me out that they’re playing them as brother and sister in the future. Dai sees a white Gabutyra!
At the Deboss base, the clan is a hotmess. They need emotion again to resurrect old Deboss plasma cells. Also, a female Aigaron (Hoshigaron) is creepy when she caresses Ghaos’ chest. WHAT.
Uppy (Utchy) is a professional bowler and Icchan (Ian) is a popular musician. A now older Souji beats Icchan and Uppy with a stick.
Luckiero reflects by the river. *SHADE* Hoshigaron captures Luckiero.
Athreban tries to kill Dai and Sneldo captures some people. Candelira still can’t find the original batteries. She needs to go on hoarders.
Luckily, Torin tells her to look behind a photo and finds the original batteries.
Mini Gabutyra and ghost Torin find Dai. DAI LACKS BRAVERY. SHOOT ME, WHY IS THIS ABOUT KING. Torin drops a new battery.
Icchan is singing and says Parasagun and the color black. HE REMEMBERS HIS COLOR. Also, his guitar was out of tune. C’mon now.
Uppy remembers his color is gold. New Nossan likes blue still.
Old Souji gives his grandson the Feather Edge sword.
We have three out of six who found their correct color!
Uppy doesn’t think his battery goes in that T-Rex mouth. His morpher flies down and all is right in the world.
Ami likes pink (WOW LOOK AT THAT GREAT WRITING AND CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. I’m still bitter.) and now we have five Kyoryugers to brave finish Itsspringtime and Itsautumn into dust.
On a beach Summertime, Itswinter, Ghaos, Sneldo, Hoshigaron, and Athreban have Luckiero captured and hurt the Kyoryugers enough to demoprh.
As Ghaos is about to take all the emotions from the Kyoryugers, Athreban hurts his fellow Deboss clan because he is the true spawn of Deboss! He absorbs them. He can control time and made memories of the past Kyoryugers fade. He pores Luckiero’s nutritius joyro of refreshing water on himself and grows. He jumps in a time portal to awaken Lord Deboss before the final battle.
That’s what he said.
Dai jumps on to Athreban’s leg.
Gabutyra saves Dai from death and turns red. Dai uses the special battery Torin gave him earlier to call upon past Kyoryugers to hurt Athreban? IDK that’s just stupid.
Athreban makes it into the past, but Giant Bragioh and Plezu-Oh intercept him. The young Kyoryugers meet Dai to save him? Have I told you lately how much I hate King all the time. I DON’T CARE ABOUT YOU. The old Kyoryugers morph.
Gigant Kyoryuzin uses Super Voltasaur Charge, All Gigant Explosion to send Athreban back into the past. They throw Dai back through the portal as well.
Our future Kyoryugers finally use the correct batteries and morph. SO BRAVE.
During the battle against Athreban and Paramonsters, Lady Candelira helps by singing the Earth melody, ie she gets to sing her heart out in people form.
Ian love for one last time.
They use a brave finish to kill the Paramonsters. On Summertime and Itswinter, they use Carnival Western to blow them to bits.
Itswinter finally admits he was using a different name. hahah
Athreban is taken out by power from the past and future Kyoryuger teams!
They get to pose with their suits!
Back in past world life, Ian is being beat up by his future wife.
Ghaos, Sneldo, and Hoshigaron vanish from the future Kyoryugers. I wonder why they left a future loop hole.
The ending credits are a revamped dance sequence with poses of past and future Kyoryguers. Nossan is always cute.
Review
Why. Why. This movie could have been so much better, but NO WE HAVE TO FOCUS ON KING’S BRAVERY. WHY IS EVERYTHING ALWAYS ABOUT HIM. The plot was a little weird too. The Go-Busters movie last year was so random and funny, and this was meh. Some of it was funny (Season monster team) and that all the actors got to play different personas, but it wasn’t executed well. I did like the random team colors at the beginning though. Candelira and Luckiero in charge was fun as well. Honestly, I give this a 5 out of 10; it just didn’t do well for me. What are your thoughts? We get to see them one more time in January and then farewell! Tbh I’m kind of excited. haha
