TOOT-TOOT RESSHA SENTAI TOQGER. Let’s go! Today’s episode is entitled: “The Emperor of Darkness.”
Today’s episode starts with Madame Noire desperately looking for Baron Nero since he sent Schwarz to pick up the Emperor.
Schwarz was able to pick the Emperor up since all the dark energy that had been collected from last time, now allowed them to connect to his station.
THE EMPEROR IS COMING.
We find the ToQgers enjoying a day at an amusement park. Roller coasters, tea cups, and merry-go-rounds, oh my!
In a haunted house, Kagura gets scared and breaks some windows #SuperGirlProblems.
A man in a silver coats carries a silver star balloon….
Back at the Shadow Line Base, Baron Nero expects the Emperor to disembark from the train, but instead is greeted by Lamp Shadow, the Emperor’s Imperial Guard.
Lamp Shadow explains that the Emperor got off along the way…
With the news that the Emperor is on Earth, the Shadow Line take trains to find him while Madame Noire drags Grita to see him. As much as I hate this marriage plot, I feel kind of bad for her here.
As the Shadow Line heads to Earth, the Emperor sits down with Right while he eats. And says that Right is shinning…
The Emperor explains that he has lived in pitch darkness until now… The Emperor then runs to the Merry-Go-Round and pisses everyone off by cutting in line. Right pays for him to go.
As the Emperor and Right walk around, the Emperor looks into his eyes and Right feels cold, darkness.
Suddenly the Shadow Line appears and for the first time, they all meet the ToQgers in broad daylight.
They introduce themselves and I start to get very concerned. Some shit is about to go down.
The Emperor’s name is ZED. I’M FEELING A MMPR NOD HERE. YES MAMA.
Wagon faints at his presence. Perfect.
The ToQgers transform and all take on a Shadow Line commander. Madame Noire’s umbrella attacks and Baron Nero’s hat slicing are scary as fuck.
Then, Baron Nero demorphs the team by shooting them with a dark energy hat beam. This is some terrifying shit.
The Emperor waves a hand to stop the attacks because of the ToQgers shining.
Followed by him saying some creepy ass comments about living in darkness. Suddenly the Emperor faints because the “surface is still too toxic for him.”
The ToQgers jump on their trains to follow the Darkliners with the Emperor.
On the Darkliner, the Emperor watches the battle between the ToQgers and Crow commanded Shadow Line megazords.
ToQ-Oh and Diesel-Oh come online and use a combo attack to destroy the Crow megazords.
Somewhere else in the city, Lamp Shadow emits a a dark light from his staff…
Causing all the ToQgers, except Right, to forget who they, where they are, and their IMAGINATIONS. They can’t see the trains anymore!!!! :((( My guess is Right can still see the trains because of his stronger imagination. Maybe this has happened to them many times in the past since they can’t remember anything??
At a seaside train station, Grita jumps on a train to runaway from the arranged marriage. YOU GO GIRL.
Review
HO MY GOD. This episode had it all: Meeting the Emperor and his name is Zed, Grita is running away, dark light makes them lose their memories, epic villain greetings and fighting scenes, I just died. I’m so excited where they’re going from here and how this memory loss will be remedied and explained! A solid 8.5 out of 10 for just nonstop OH SHIT moments. This is really early on to get this epic and ToQ6 hasn’t even appeared yet!!
