Let’s breakdown Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger: Brave 48 – “Brave Finale! Giant Explosion! Goodbye, Kyoryugers!”
The end is here. Let us begin.
We start with shots from each Kyoryuger and them taking on paramonters, Deboss people, etc.
And a flash to last time when Amy retrieved the batteries but at King’s expense.
As Amy cries for King while falling down a pit, King Dantestsu “destroys” Chaos a little too easily with an Air-Bursting punch.
Souji and Ian find a crying Nossan in the forest over Utchy’s body and I DIED. They take his body back to the spirit base.
Amy shakes King until he awakens and I feel slightly okay.
But then he says he protected her because he loves her.
AND I’M CRYING PROFUSELY.
LOOK AT THIS EMBRACE.
Suddenly, the frozen palace shoots off into space.
And we are told that it’s turning the atmosphere into a speaker that will play the Deboss destruction melody. It will destroy the planet. That’s odd, but okay. haha
During this, Killbolero enters the spirit base and starts attacking the team, but the Spirit Base’s melody syncs with the team’s and Nossan, Ian, and Souji are able to transform once again.
They destroy him once and for all with a bad ass slash shield shot.
Yayoi and Dr. Ulsahde come to save King and Amy with Plezuon, but King shoves Amy out the door to save her. What a bitch.
Also, in hell, Tessai, Torin, and Ramirez find the core of darkness (epicenter of hell).
With Chaos in front of it to stop them from destroying it.
Yayoi, Souji, Ian, and Nossan try to make Amy feel better that King will be safe. This peacefulness sends a melody out…
While fighting, Deboss tells King that his “creator” is still out in space… WELL OKAY. HOPEFULLY THAT’LL BE A PLOT LATER IN SOME MOVIE.
Back on Earth Ian, Souji, Amy, Nossan ,and Yayoi, sing the Kyoryuger theme song and it’s beautiful and very impactful for a musical type Sentai season.
This melody spreads and revives UTCHY!!! YESSSS.
King hears this melody and realizes he can transform again. He transforms into KyoryuCarnivalRed and it gets badass.
The rest of the team continues singing and it’s so energetic.
Back in hell, Candelira and Luckiero appear because….
Luckiero has a lantern that lets them into hell while still alive…. I really have no idea, but I don’t care. haha
Candelira joins Torin, Tessai, and Ramirez to give one final strike to Chaos.
And it’s perfect.
As Chaos and the core of hell are being destroyed, Chaos yells how he always knew Candelira would be his downfall. : )
Torin thanks Candelira and Luckeiro and tells them to live life the way they see fit. CRYING EVERYWHERE.
With the core destroyed, the paramonsters vanish!
King uses his final attack to destroy Deboss in a beautiful brave attack.
As King destroys Deboss, the Kyoryuger mecha destroy the frozen palace. Everything begins to blow-up. King is still inside.
A couple of days pass since the destruction of the Deboss clan and all our warriors are sad from the loss of King and their dino spirits.
AND NOSSAN’S REACTION LITERALLY KILLS ME.
Candelira gives him a napkin, but stays hidden. I honestly don’t know why she does this except that maybe she doesn’t want him to grow attached to her since she thinks she’s still evil?
As Candelira and Luckiero walk away, they decide to be good from now on. Good monsters now. Wonderful.
And will spread smiles by giving suckers to kids. 🙂
King’s Dad leaves into the great beyond and basically gives King the rites to being the official King of Earth now.
Amy realizes that her battery beast power is back and runs to the ocean with her team to find that their mechas and KING ARE BACK.
AND EVERYONE IS HAPPY.
THEN KING LOOKS AT AMY TO TAKE HER UP ON THAT STRAWBERRY PARFAIT WHICH IS CODE FOR RED/PINK SEX I THINK.
And says romantic melodic words to her.
And they embrace and literally everything is perfect.
Even with Torin, Ramirez, and Tessai smiling from the grave.
And our team bids us a farewell…..
Review
Honestly guys, this finale was everything for me. It wrapped up love plots (mostly), had literally all of the best music from the season in wonderful arrangements, was epic, no one died (LOOKING AT YOU GO-BUSTERS), and I cried from sadness and happiness in one episode. I have thoroughly loved watching and reviewing this season with you guys. These characters feel like family and I think this Sentai season will be remembered as one of the best. I loved the evil clan (Candelira and Luckiero especially), I obviously was obsessed with Yayoi the entire time, loved the entire cast, and loved the way this ended. My only qualm with this season was the amount of crap (mecha, power-ups, etc.) they gave King throughout the season, but in the end really gave the other characters a time to shine. This episode was an 11 out of 10 for me and as an entire season a 9 out 0f 10. I truly loved this series.
