Let’s breakdown Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger: Brave 46 – “Major Battle! An Attack of Love and Tears”
You guys. I cried. Get ready. First we start off with Luckiero and Candelira making tea in the forest.
A damaged Aigaron shows up, pleading for them to run because Deboss wants to kill them!
Back at the base, King explains that he has to fight his Dad to Souji and Utchy’s much displeasure.
And makes a valid point that maybe King Dantetsu isn’t too bad after all….
At the frozen palace, Chaos informs Deboss that Icerondo is on the case to kill our beloved Luckiero, Candelira, and Aigaron.
hahahah. Yes, when a random ranger runs into an open field, that usually means they want to fight and ain’t scared.
During this epic family battle we learn that Amy asked King out on a date for a RED AND PINK STRAWBERRY PARFAIT. OMG.
And King accepts the date!!!
AND THEY BASICALLY NEED TO GET A ROOM.
This gives King the bravery to fight and the epic showdown beings.
During their battle, the other Kyoryugers find a Tupac hologram, JK it’s Torin, and urges them to keep fighting the good fight!
During battle, King realizes that for him to hear Earth’s melody he must harmonize with his father. Through fisting. WOW.
After this, bitchy Deboss decides to start the clock again because YOLO. DEATH FOR EVERYONE.
This causes holes to open up around the world, letting in fallen Deboss monsters from the past to return!
As well as Deboss explains he will destroy the entire planet and everything like he was going to originally, resending his bargain with King’s Dad.
Icerondo, the new general of Sorrow, attacks Aigaron, Candelira, and Luckiero who fall down the hill in front of the other Kyoryugers. Aigaron pleads for them to protect Luckeiro and Candelira…
But Ian won’t hear any of it due to Aigaron killing his best friend.
This part is so sad. You can tell how much Aigaron loves Candelira and UGHHHH.
We then learn through Icerondo that when he died, Chaos brought him back again due to his protective armor and trapped soul.
Which in turn made him even more angrier and sad due to Chaos’ revival of Aigaron.
Icerondo sends an attack on Candelira but Aigaron protects her and takes a severe hit.
Candelira screams his name and I die.
The Kyoryugers transform to run off Icerondo, but Ian takes this time to use Deniosgrander to finally kill Aigaron and get retribution for killing his friend.
Ian attacks him and you can see Aigaron’s soul leave his body.
Ian then breaks down because he is sad that he killed Aigaron even though it was out revenge. A valuable lesson.
With his dying breathe, Aigaron shares a flower with Candelira. Canderlia screams Aigaron’s name and I’M DYING.
Like, byeeeeee.
After Aigaron’s death, Utchy, Souji, Ian, Amy, and Nossan use a special attack to hurt Icerondo, but only Ian’s extra attack destroys him. Beautiful.
HE KILLS ICERONDO WITH AIGARON’S AXE. POETIC. GOOD GOD. AND THE AXE SHEDS A FINAL TEAR.
Nossan then runs to Candelira’s side to calm her.
And he loves her and it’s beautiful. I fucking ship them so hard. I’m crying currently. hahahah
Back with King and his father, the portal revives their first debomonster: Evil Torin.
Then Evil Torin starts being attacked by none other than….
TORIN WHO IS LEADING A REBELLION IN HELL. YASSSSSSS.
King explains that his Dad killed Torin so that Torin could kill all the monsters in hell before they came back up. And that he’s on his way back!!! King’s Dad isn’t evil after all and Torin isn’t dead!!!!
Review
So I fucking loved this episode. Aigaron’s death, Candelira’s crying, finding out that Torin is alive, and that King’s Dad isn’t evil basically made this episode the best thing ever. Ian’s story plot finally gets resolved and I absolute love the way they did it. The camera work in this episode was amazing as well. With only two episodes left, I bet the other two are going to be amazing and I’ll cry and like die. 10 out 10 like there was any doubt.
The next episode has images of Kyoryuger friends and family morphing too so I’m guessing it’s going to be a clusterfuck showdown. GET EXCITED!!!
