Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger: Brave 45 Review

Let’s breakdown Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger: Brave 45 – “Say It Ain’t So, Dad! The End of Silver”

SHIT GOES DOWN TODAY. Let’s get started. First off, Torin gives Souji his Feather Edge sword. You know Torin gonna die just from that one move. I mean. Really. Can we all say WARNING.

The team runs to find that Chaos is back to normal and that Deboss has fussed with the frozen palace.

They Kyoruu change with a 360 rotation around each member along with a nice water blast role-call.

Deboss becomes larger than life and is one pissed monster. Gigant Bragioh battles him and hurts him, but instead of blowing up, Deboss barfs/ejaculates/spews a seed.

The Kyoryugers think they’ve stopped Deboss’ final evolution [hahaha], but is rudely stopped by a now fully hatched and evolved “Ascendant God Deboss.” HE LOOKS LIKE A WEIRD BUTTERFLY WITH EMOJI FACES.

The Kyoryugers are picked off one by one by Deboss [who has the “dark melody in him” lololol] until they all demorph.

Deboss instantly grows by ripping his scarf off [hahahahaha] and sends Bragigas into his original form [some creepy ass screeching music here is intense].

Deboss puts back on his scarf and becomes normal size again. Deboss explains that he can’t just kill Torin, because he’ll lead others by spirit still. Deboss then explains that he will die a warrior of Deboss and will be trapped in land of darkness for forever. Rough.

Endorf then says that they have one person who can kill Torin completely. KING’S DAD. HE EVIL. HE BAD.

It’s explained that King’s Dad made a deal with Chaos to kill Torin if they stop the destruction countdown clock. He would rather kill all of humanity than destroy the whole planet. How nice.

King’s Dad uses the flute and dark melody to paralyze Torin and then shanks him. SHANKS HIM. Feathers go everywhere. Everyone cries.

King’s Dad basically says that Earth’s true melody has turned him into Earth’s ally or some BS like that.

BAM.

King’s Dad picks up Torin’s gaburevolver with batteries and transforms into KyoryuuSilver. : ( He uses Air-Bursting Punch to disable the Kyoryugers, but then the Voltasaurs show up. They ain’t having this.

Endorf and the two soldiers of Joy and Sorrow grow large to take on the mecha while blasting them with dark melodies.

The mecha are hurt and all the Kyoryugers end up in weird places unmorphed. Crying. In a river. On a hill.

The greatest question ever is asked by King: Did Earth’s melody drive him crazy?

We return to the frozen palace with Deboss in the king’s chair.

Aigaron feels us in that our favorites have run away.

Chaos starts talking about them as well. He doesn’t mind if Luckeiro goes missing, but that Candelira must be destroyed. Oh shit.

Chaos realizes that Aigaron has overheard this and then….

The Solider of Joy, Killbolero shows up.

And the Solider of Sorrow, Icerond as well.

Who are Aigaron and Candelira’s final replacements. Aigaron runs away.

We leave the Kyoryugers with King realizing that he was touched by Earth’s light long ago too, not just his Dad. And the quest begins to find King’s Dad and get the truth….

Review

You guys, I lied. There are only 48 episodes this season. THAT MEANS WE HAVE THREE LEFT. I just. This is torturer.

Anyways, this episode was amazing. King’s Dad betrays everyone. Torin dies. We get two new soldiers and Deboss’ final form. It all went there. Plus, I’m really going to miss the music from this season. They did a very good job of practically playing the same melody about 90 different ways in different keys and with different instruments. I’m curious how Candelira and Luckiero will be incorporated into the end. As well as, where is Yayoi and the other spirit rangers??? I don’t want this to end. Please. Simply, this episode was amazing. 10/10. Yep, it finally happened.

Until next time, this has been SimplyScott1. Stay Brave!
