RangerCrew has given us the first news about Series 5 and 6 of the popular Power Rangers ACG! No release dates are set in stone, but Series 5 should be out sometime in February, and Series 6 later in the year.
Like Series 4 “Legends Unite,” Series 5 will also be a booster-only series. It will include 183 cards (91 commons, 61 rares, 22 super rares, and 9 ultra rares). With Series 5, you will be able to unlock every phrase from the Gosei Morpher! That’s pretty MEGA! It’s also said that some of the cards in Series 5 will be re-printed with different numbers, and that Bandai has been working hard to include several fan-requested Megazord and Ranger cards! The Power Rangers ACG Facebook will reveal the official title and the first preview image at the end of the month!
As for Series 6, the only information given were the initials (KoP) and that it will be the first set to include Power Rangers Super Megaforce! The hint given about the initials “KoP” are that it doesn’t include the word key…I scanned the thread where RangerCrew is having fans guess the title. Some popular ones are: Keepers of Peace, Knowledge of Power, and Keepers of Past. You can see other guesses in the thread here.
My Thoughts:
Although this is very exciting news, I’m honestly upset that I still haven’t been able to find any Series 4 packs in stores. There was a lot of awesome cards in that set, especially the Psycho Rangers! But I’m definitely excited to see these new additions! Series 5 will be a must-have for collectors, and Series 6 will include Super Megaforce!
