Let’s breakdown Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger: Brave 25 – “What the-?! Nightmare of Deboss!”
We start off today’s episode with Souji enjoying a nice practice day at Kendo since the Kyoryugers beat Deboss….(Kinda)
Torin addresses the team that the lab is almost complete, but…
….they have to eradicate Luckiero and Candelira first to make sure they don’t bring back Deboss for sure.
Souji has a dream that his love interest is with him in a park, but then she turns into Luckiero and his Kendo team attacks him.
The team heads back to the base after sleepless nights and realize that all the males are all having dreams about Luckiero. lololol
King dreamed that they all hated him, Ian dreamed that women hated him (hahaha), and Nossan dreamed that his customers hated him.
Suddenly, the Paramonsters start attacking the city, but only Amy can function since she’s the only who hasn’t had nightmares! Utchy shows up but falls asleep to a nightmare that all his friends hate him.
Luckiero and Nightmarer come out of Utchy’s dream when he’s awoken and Luckiero tells the Kyoryugers that he was the only one left to save the legion!
Nightmarer makes your worst nightmares come true! OH MY!
How I deflect the haters as well…..
Anyways, Nightmarer puts Amy to sleep and attacks her in her dream, but King uses Ovirappoo to wake her up with the bad smell. Then Nightmarer informs Amy that since they’ve entered once, they can frequent her easily now (Ps this is my fav red ranger. hahah)
The rangers drink coffee, exercise, whatever possible to stay awake, but Nossan finally succumbs to sleep and is attacked in his dream. Souji receives an energy drink from his crush and the drink wakes him. Now awake, Souji uses his surprise attack and hits Nightmarer right in the face.
The whole team downs the nasty energy drink and hurt Nightmarer enough to get him to go giant mode.
PLOT TWIST:
The team calls upon all their mechas and send Nightmarer back to the dream world.
Right before the team destorys Luckiero, the entire Deboss clan shows up and tells Luckiero that because of his wonderful work, they now know the Kyoryuger flaws!
Lord Chaos then explains that right before Deboss’ demise, he implanted his heart into Chaos’ hand, Iceage hide the ice palace in water, and Aigaron was saved. What. A. Surprise.
Lastly, Souji thanks his crush for the energy drink and Lord Chaos brings a new emotion commander to the group: Endorf, representing hatred.
Review
Love the monster of the week Nightmarer and his tempurpedic shield, but I felt the energy drink plot was a little strange. AND WHAT A SURPRISE PLEZUON HAS A NEW BASE AND DEBOSS LEGION IS BACK. Those two plots seemed a little thrown together, but I did enjoy that a new commander was set-up for the new episode. And no Yayoi, so demerits for that. haha Overall, an okay episode, so 6/10.
