I absolutely cannot wait for this to be released! I almost want to collect more than one and I know for sure they will be widely sought after by the Power Ranger collector! The Legacy Morpher is going to be die-cast which means it’s going to be heavier than plastic and give it a more realistic feel! This makes the new Legacy Version intrinsically different from the original Power Morpher. This is shaping up to be an epic addition to the 20th Anniversary line-up!
This is just a first look and I am sure that stickers will be included to make the Morpher more show accurate attune to the version we saw at Comic-Con and Power Morphicon!
I also find it interesting that the coins may become silver, but again this may not be final!
Here is an image of what the original MMPR Power Morpher (repainted and repro-labled from RangerBoard) looked like.
I’m sure there will be plenty of comparison reviews out there once the Legacy Morpher is released.
Sadly, I never actually owned an original Power Morpher and a good quality one is quite pricey these days, however I wonder what the newer version will do to the worth and price of the original.
