A brief description for the new Super Samurai Halloween Special, “Trickster Treat,
which airs 10/27 airing in the new time-slot of 1PM has been revealed:
“Master Xandred and Octoroo deploy a mind-bending Nighlok named Trickster, trapping the Power Rangers in a series of horror movies. The Rangers must figure out what is reality and what is illusion. Will the Rangers escape the nightmare?”
The Christmas Special, “Stuck On Christmas” is set to air 12/8 a week after the Super Samurai Finale.
“After battling a humbug of a Nighlok, GRED, the Samurai Rangers find themselves stranded inside a malfunctioning Megazord! Will the Christmas spirit, determination and, teamwork be enough to get the Rangers home in time to celebrate the holiday?”
I for one am excited to see a Halloween and Christmas Special with an actual Nighlok for them to battle. It also looks like the Christmas special is going to be shown out of continuity as the episode premieres a week after the final battle of Super Samurai!
