According to SlideToPlay.com Saban Brands is planning a new App Game which allows the player to access several Rangers from the 20 Year history of Power Rangers! The player will be able to take on monsters in one-on-one battles in central locations.
The article states that the graphics for the Rangers is pretty decent but the monsters are “lacking textures”
The App will be FREE to Download in Mid-November and new Seasons/Rangers and Episodes (with Unique Monsters) will be available to download in-game! No word yet and what specific phones will utilize this, but I assume Iphone and Androids will be first in line.
“Combat-wise, the game feels familiar, using swipes for sword slashes. We were unable to counter attacks by slashing in the opposite direction, so this ability may not be in the final game. However, you could activate a series of nicely animated special kicks and blasts with buttons that appeared in the upper-right of the screen, which show off a bit more of your Ranger’s skills.”
While the article doesn’t give it a glowing review, since they were allowed a demo, I am sort of excited for this new game!
It seems like Power Rangers fans will get a better kick out of this game than non-fans!
