RangerCrew confirmed a few days ago that there will no last names for Mia, Emily, Mike & Kevin!
Jayden and Antonio were given last names; Shiba and Garcia respectively.
In the same thread it was revealed that all the pondering and speculation about the name of the Samurai Rangers’ City has now been put to rest. Yes, the city will have no name at all.
My two cents: I just think this is terribly lazy! I mean if the fans want last names so bad then pull some out of your ass and give them last names. Doesn’t it take more work to tell everyone there are no last names than if you just made some up? Most of the time only non-human Rangers (The Aquitians, Andros, Zhane, Maya, Karone, Dillon, etc.)have not had last names.
On another note, as you can see in the picture below there are many smaller city names listed. Why not just use one of those names?
Personally, I think this is just severe laziness on the part of the writers! Come on guys!
