The Best of the Best portion of this site has been a little slow lately with the last entry being Power Hoodiez. In the past I’ve shown you YouTube How-To Videos on how to perform the Rangers’ Morphs, Covers of the Original MMPR Theme Song, Custom Mighty Mugz and even Custom Psycho Ranger figures! This time however, these custom figures dwarf the awesomeness of even the Psycho Ranger customs!
These custom SH Figuarts were created by Facebook/Tumblr and Rangerboard member, King Ranger “Not the TVN Guy”. He also appears to have made a name for himself by custom making Power Rangers/Super Sentai helmets and props including shields and morphers! If you visit his Facebook Profile Page you can see all of the other amazing work he is doing right now! These designs appear to be customs created from original Japanese Sentai Figuarts to become teams that have never been released before. The work is just amazing and he is even creating the Power Weapons for the figures (pictured above unpainted).
According to a few posts on his Facebook page, he is creating these custom figures from pulling apart the SH Figuarts of the Shinkgers and repainting and molding them to whatever team he wishes! What amazing work!
Among the many pictures on his profile page it looks as if he is working on many more custom Figuarts to add to his collection. Here you can see Time Force (Timeranger), Zeo (Ohranger), Jungle Fury (Gekiranger) and even RPM (Go-0nger) among many others! His work is impeccable and look like they were manufactured for purchase and not a one man job! I am uncertain at this point if he sells them or not. He expressly writes in his Facebook page that he is not selling any of the shields. helmets or morphers he has created, so therefore I doubt he sells these either.
On his Tumblr Page, that seems to be very new, he posts many pictures of his finished works and poses them awesomely! I urge you to visit and follow! Don’t forget to also check out his Flickr account!
