Word on the street is that Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters has a few odes to Power Rangers in not only their Henshin Call but their Mecha as well.
From several sources, I have read that the Go-Busters shout out, “It’s Morphin’ Time!” followed by “Let’s Morphin’!” to transform into their Ranger form.
Not only that, but their Henshin Device is also called a Morphin’ Brace!
Hmm…what could these subtle references mean?
One of the Villains in the show is called Enter who creates the season’s monsters via Data Cards called MetaVirus Cards which in turn creates a MetaRoid; at the very same time a MegaZord is created but stays in the shadows to power up before heading to Earth. In the picture above you can see ShovelRoid and its MegaZord. The purple Kanji in the middle of the picture is translated as MegaZord.
Not to be outdone, the Go-Busters also have their own MegaZord which is called the Go-Buster Ace!
Honestly, this looks pretty awesome! Very shiny and sleek!
So! Interesting turn of events as we find out more information on the Go-Busters and Gokaiger comes to an end!
