What could be better than a teenage-like robot comic relief? Alpha 5, the beloved assistant to Zordon, made Mighty Morphin Power Rangers! Every day with his little quips and daily freak outs! Here’s a brieft history of the best little robot in the universe. He sure didn’t want to work with teenagers, but he sure acted the part!
Alpha 5 was built by King Lexian on the Planet Edenoi. At which point he joined forces with Zordon to begin work on the Rangers’ power. Alpha assisted the Rangers in many missions as well as manning the command center’s controls for teleportation and zord deployment.
He became evil several times after being infected with computer viruses, both from discs at the Green Rangers’ hand. But, he would always be rescued in the end and became one of the Ranger’s strongest allies.
Alpha 5 survived many explosions, putty attacks, and viruses but was always there for the Rangers. During the first half of Power Rangers Turbo, Alpha and Zordon left Earth and headed to the planet Edenoi. He did, however, make it back to Earth for the Power Transfer. He wasnt heard from again after Zordon’s death.

Upon Alpha 5 & Zordon’s departure, they were replaced with Alpha 6 (a supposed upgrade) and Demetria. Alpha 6 was at times a bit annoying, yes more so than Alpha 5, with his hip-hop attitude. Gaw. Makes you miss Alpha 5 all over again!
