Lauren Shiba, Red Samurai Ranger/Red Prime Ranger
Lauren Shiba is a descendant of the original Red Samurai Ranger that defended Feudal Japan from the Nighlok. After the Eltarians colonized Earth and started snuffing out every Power Rangers, she ends up losing her father and brother, with her becoming a nomad, moving from place to place until she ends up in Angel Grove. She nearly gets captured by the Earth Security Taskforce until Markon Zhao is able to hide her in the apartment he shares with Orion. After meeting Rita Repulsa at the Angel Grove Natural History Museum, she is given a Power Coin to become the Red Prime Ranger.
Markon Zhao, Blue Prime Ranger
Markon Zhao is a Human/Aquitian hybrid and an alien refugee that came to live on Earth when he was six years old. He is also enrolled at Angel Grove University and also finds Lauren Shiba when she is nearly captured by the Earth Security Taskforce. After meeting Rita Repulsa at the Angel Grove Natural History Museum, he is given a Power Coin to become the Blue Prime Ranger.
Jun, Black Prime Ranger
Jun is a Eltarian born and raised on Earth and the son of Admiral Janessa, the overseer of the Eltarian Youth Corps. After meeting Rita Repulsa at the Angel Grove Natural History Museum, he is given a Power Coin to become the Black Prime Ranger.
Valentina, Yellow Prime Ranger
Valentina is a member of the Eltarian Youth Corps and a girlfriend to Ryan Steele, one of the VR Troopers. After meeting Rita Repulsa at the Angel Grove Natural History Museum, she is given a Power Coin to become the Yellow Prime Ranger.
Orion, Pink Prime Ranger
Orion is an Andresian that came to live on Earth ten years ago after his planet was invaded by The Armada. He is also Markon Zhao’s roommate that is tasked with taking care of an injured Lauren Shiba. After meeting Rita Repulsa at the Angel Grove Natural History Museum, he is given a Power Coin to become the Pink Prime Ranger.
