Lauren Shiba is a descendant of the original Red Samurai Ranger that defended Feudal Japan from the Nighlok. After the Eltarians colonized Earth and started snuffing out every Power Rangers, she ends up losing her father and brother, with her becoming a nomad, moving from place to place until she ends up in Angel Grove. She nearly gets captured by the Earth Security Taskforce until Markon Zhao is able to hide her in the apartment he shares with Orion.
