Leo Corbett, Red Galaxy Ranger

Leo Corbett is a young man from Angel Grove that desired to explore the universe and tries to get a ticket for Terra Venture. After he is denied access, he sneaks on a shuttle until he is caught and disguises himself as a GSA Solider. He meets up with his brother, Mike Corbett, who travels with him through a portal to Mirinoi, witnessing him and four others release the Quasar Sabers. After his brother falls through a crevice, he uses the Red Quasar Saber to become the Red Galaxy Ranger. Leo lives in the shadow of his older brother and is shown to want to be just like him when he decides to attempt to become a member of the Galactic Space Alliance. He also tries to honor him by training to be the best he could be in the fight against evil. Leo is later reunited with his brother when it is revealed that he was used as the host for the Magna Defender and attempts to give him back the Red Quasar Saber. However, Mike ensures him that he was the one destined to become the Red Galaxy Ranger.
Kai Chen, Blue Galaxy Ranger
Played By: Archie Kao
Kai Chen is a member of the Galactic Space Alliance, overseeing that Terra Venture stays ahead of schedule and takes direct orders from Commander Stanton. During a training mission before Terra Venture’s grand voyage, he commandeers the Astro Megaship to travels to Mirnoi to rescue his friend. On Mirinoi, Kai Chen releases the Blue Quasar Saber and becomes the Blue Galaxy Ranger. Kai Chen is direct and by-the-books, following orders given to him until he learns to trust his instincts when Commander Stanon falls under the control of the Icy Angel. Kai is also an accomplished chef, being shown to be the one to cook for his teammates. He also butts heads with Leo Corbett at first until he proves himself to be a worthy leader of the Galaxy Rangers.
Damon Henderson, Green Galaxy Ranger
Played By: Reggie Rolle
Damon Henderson is the chief mechanic of the Astro Megaship after it becomes a museum in Angel Grove. After it is commandeered by Kai Chen, he travels with him to Mirinoi and release the Green Quasar Saber, becoming the Green Galaxy Ranger. After this, he becomes a mechanic for the Galactic Space Alliance, making sure that all of Terra Venture’s engine are working at optimal efficiency. Damon also shows true heroism when he volunteers to save High Councilor Reiner when Trakeena kidnaps her in exchange for repairs to the Scorpion Stinger.
Maya, Yellow Galaxy Ranger
Played By: Cerina Vincent
Maya is a member of a tribe on Mirinoi, the resting place of the Quasar Sabers. When Furio attack her planet to obtain the Quasar Sabers for Scorpius, she is sent through a portal and meets a group of people to assist her in fighting Furio. During this fight, she releases the Yellow Quasar Saber and becomes the Yellow Galaxy Ranger. Maya is skilled in communication, being able to communicate with animals, like horses and the Galactabeasts. Maya is shown to be homesick during her stay on Terra Venture, but grows closer to her teammates, especially Kendrix Morgan.
Kendrix Morgan, Pink Galaxy Ranger I
Played By: Valerie Vernon
Kendrix Morgan is a scientist working on Terra Venture in the Galactic Space Alliance’s Science Division. During a training mission before Terra Venture’s grand voyage, she travels through a portal to Mirinoi to assist its people after it is attacked by Furio and an army of Stingwingers. During this skirmish, she pulls the Pink Quasar Saber and becomes the Pink Galaxy Ranger. Despite her high intelligence, she is also very well-versed in combat, being able to go toe-to-toe with Kai Chen. She also develops a close friendship with Maya, the Yellow Galaxy Ranger and is shown concern when a monster pretends to be her friend from Mirinoi. Due to her job in the Science Division, she is given access to the Galaxy Book and is able to research it to find out lost secrets, like the existence of the Lost Galactabeasts. During a fight against Psycho Pink on Rashon, she is killed in a blasts from the destruction of the Savage Sword. Her spirit lingers in this world until she passes on her powers to Karone. She is later revived when her team makes it to Mirinoi and return the Quasar Sabers.
Mike Corbett, Magna Defender
Played By: Russell Lawrence
Mike Corbett is a member of the Galactic Space Alliance that reunites with his brother, Leo Corbett prior to the grand voyage of Terra Venture. He travels to Mirinoi after a portal opens in front of him, releasing the Red Quasar Saber. However, he falls through a crevice during an altercation with Furio, passing on the Red Quasar Saber to his brother so that he may become the Red Galaxy Ranger. His body is then used by the Magna Defender to exact his revenge on Scorpius until the Magna Defender releases him in order to save Terra Venture. He is then given the Magna Sword by the spirit of the Magna Defender to become the new Magna Defender. He also returns to his job at the Galactic Space Alliance, taking direct orders from Commander Stanton. When Terra Venture travels to the Lost Galaxy, he volunteers to be captured by Barbarax in order to rescue the humans trapped as slaves in Captain Mutiny’s Camp. After he succeeds in this, he keeps the portal out of the Lost Galaxy open for Terra Venture to pass through it, at the expense of his powers and the Torozord.
Karone, Pink Galaxy Ranger II
Played By: Melody Perkins
Karone is a Karovian that was kidnapped as a child and groomed to become the Princess Of Evil, Astronema. Shortly after the death of Kendrix Morgan, she uses the sway of her former identify to obtain the Pink Quasar Saber from the Onyx Auction. During an altercation with Trakeena, she is saved by the spirit of Kendrix Morgan, who passes on her power to Karone, becoming the next Pink Galaxy Ranger. Karone becomes an important asset of the team, using her knowledge to help Leo Corbett obtain his Battlizer from The Warrior. She also uses her freedom from evil to live the childhood she never had and is is shown to be very excited being a Power Ranger, first shown during her first attempt at summoning the Wildcat Galactabeast.
