Power Rangers is widely known for it’s campy comedic style AND let’s be real here it is not Power Rangers without some sort of goofy schtick! Sometimes it’s nice to take a break from the plot and spend some time with your favorite Rangers in strange situations!

“Power Ranger Punks” is one of the most classic Mighty Morphin’ episodes you can find this side of “Food Fight” and for good reason! After Baboo poisons the Rangers’ drinks with potion to make them “Punk” Billy and Kimberly fall victim!
Hilarity ensues when the two become the 90s standard of “Punk” and turn on their friends! Amy Jo and David Yost are so classic in this episode comically switching their personalities to fit the “Ranger Gone Bad” motif!

Rocky, shortly after joining as Red Ranger, got his first focus episode where he is taken under the spell of Ernie’s new Pachinko machine! It’s just too much fun! Soon Rocky begins to neglect his duties as a Ranger and his duties as a Karate Instructor.
Pachinko Head is one of the most memorable monsters from Season 2 and turning the Rangers into Pachinko Balls went along with the MMPR motif of turning Rangers into colored objects.

Aisha’s second focus episode has a friend from Stone Canyon visit during a Gymnastics competition, in which Kimberly just so happens to be participating in. Enter Shawna, the Mean Girl of Power Rangers. Immediately Shawna hates Kimberly and is full of snarky remarks and comebacks!

Not only that but the Rangers get baked into a giant pizza and the word “fiddlesticks” is uttered by Blue Senturian! Can it get any better?

In this episode Astronema and Zhane have a chance meeting and end up making a date, when Zhane doesn’t show up because of his Ranger duties, Astronema is a woman scorned in hilarity!

Another infamous episode on our list is a much watch for anyone thinking they never want to get into Super Sentai. We spend the entire episode with Kira and Ethan watching Abaranger, a Japanese show based on the Power Rangers, and attempting to get Conner to join them. After a while Conner becomes uncomfortable with the Japanese representation of the Power Rangers! This is a great satirically backwards episode that shows us how quick we are to judge other cultures.
