Professor Horatio Hart was an old friend of Tyler Steele’s that was on brink of death during an altercation with Grimlord. To save his life, his mind is virtualized and lives within the computers of the Virtual Lab. He is responsible for recruiting Ryan Steele, JB Reese & Kaitlin Star to become VR Troopers. He is also responsible for aiding them in the fight against Grimlord’s Virtual Army.
Tyler Steele

Tyler Steele is the father of Ryan Steele and the creator of all the technology used by the VR Troopers. He is under the captive of Grimlord for years, being brainwashed into one of his virtual warriors named Dark Heart and is later sponged of his own knowledge by Grimlord so that he could build his Virtual Dark Fortress. He is later reunited with his son and creates a stronger suit for him to fight Grimlord’s Virtual Warriors. Shortly after reuniting with his son, he goes into hiding to prevent Grimlord for obtaining a disc that could destroy the VR Troopers.
Jeb

Jeb is a brown Redbone Coonhound and the childhood pet of Ryan Steele. He is given the ability to talk after he fools around in the Virtual Lab. Jeb goes through many different virtual reality situations due to his proximity to the VR Troopers, turning invisible, turning into a Virtual Mutant and switching bodies with Ryan Steele.
Ulysses T. Pointdexter

Ulysses T. Pointdexter is a scatterbrained scientist that befriended the VR Troopers, becoming the target of Grimlord a few times due to his achievements in Virtual Technology.

Percival Rooney III is the nephew of the mayor of Cross World City that uses this sway to get a job at Underground Voice Daily.
Mayor Abner Rooney

Abner Rooney is the mayor of Cross World City and is often seen trying to get voter to re-elect him as mayor. He is also the Uncle of Percival Rooney II and uses this sway to get him a job at Underground Voice Daily. Abner is seen dealing with Karl Ziktor to few times to assist him in approving certain deals with Ziktor Industries.

The Furry Wombats are two endangered wombats that live in the Cross World City Animal Sanctuary. Grimlord sends Horrorbot to get rid of them so that he could buy the property and turn it into an Oil Refinery.

The Ghost Biker is a virtual program that people assumed was a ghost haunted a road. It assist the VR Troopers when Renegade attempts to destroy them with a Virtual Vaporizer
Niklat & Eoj

Niklat & Eoj are two children from the planet, Sasnak that land on Earth on their way to an asteroid colony. They befriend the VR Troopers while their ships solar converters are being fixed and later continue their journey after a tussle with Grimlord.
