According to a new article published via the LA Times website; it was announced that a new spin-off comic mini-series based solely on Kimberly Hart, the Pink Ranger is on its way!

Two New Covers for the new spin-off were released as well with the article promoting the upcoming Girl Power mini-series!
“Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Pink” is set to kick-off a six-Issue limited run in May!
“The six-part miniseries will be written by Brenden Fletcher and Kelly Thompson, with art by Daniele Di Nicuolo.
Fletcher and Thompson combined have worked on an impressive list of heroes so fans can rest assured that the Pink Ranger is in good hands.
Fletcher, of course, is known for his work on DC’s “Batgirl,” “Gotham Academy,” and “Black Canary,” and Thompson is the writer on IDW’s “Jem and the Holograms,” co-wrote Marvel’s “Captain Marvel and the Carol Corps” and will take over as the writer for the next arc of Marvel’s “A-Force.”
Plot Synopsis
Kimberly has retired from the Power Rangers to pursue life as a professional gymnast, but Zordon calls her back for one last mission to defend a mountainside where a long-resting, ancient, evil Zord lies dormant. To get back into the action—and, for the first time, lead her own team—Kimberly has to dust off the rust, plus create a practical, handmade outfit in the process!
