TOOT-TOOT RESSHA SENTAI TOQGER. Let’s go! Today’s episode is entitled: “Runaway Bride”
We start off today’s episode with the team enjoying snow cones. Summer time! Mio remembers something from their summer past…
Madame Noire fills Grita in on the wedding secret….
Every time General Schwarz touches Grita and dramatic music plays, someone dies.
The team is woken up by Mr. Conductor because he finds an invitation to Grita and Zed’s wedding! OH MY. (Tokatti’s mask is great, but Wagon’s rob is amazing.)
Bubble Shadow makes people slip on soap and transfer souls. Grita wants to swap bodies so “she” doesn’t have to marry Zed. The ToQgers shows up.
Tokatti eventually ends up in Hikari’s body, Hikari in Right’s, and Right in Tokatti’s.
Don’t drop the soap y’all.
And lastly, Mio with Grita. Kagura helps Mio-Grita escape from an angry Baron Nero.
I mean, Grita doesn’t have to marry Zed now, but her body does. Just an odd plan. Grita enjoys the sunshine for once!
Mio-Grita finds Grita-Mio and refuses to go back to her old body.
The ToQger guys (including Akira) morph. They too cute.
Thanks to Madame Noire’s protection, Mio, Grita, and Kagura run away. Madame Noire and Baron Nero begin to duel and I AM GAGGING. I love their fighting styles.
Right uses the Car Carrier ressha to plug his bubble cannons. Along with Shield Express, a Tank blast, and Akira’s final strike, Bubble Shadow is defeated, for now.
Everyone switches back to their bodies!
Kagura and Mio have an honesty moment and run through a rose garden, BECAUSE THAT’S SAFE.
Build Dai-Oh and Diesel-Oh take on a large Bubble Shadow now, but his sud cannons are kicking their butts.
Kagura and Mio bring in the Fire Engine and Police ressha! The defoamer cannon was pretty funny.
I love that the ending is them with bubbles around them. hahaha
At the end, Zed finds Grita….
Review
Pretty solid episode. This will totally be translated in the American adaptation, body swap episodes are favorites. The monsters costume design was pretty cool too. The wedding plot next episode looks amazing. I give this episode a 7 out of 10! Kagura and Mio shipping is always fun. And remember, don’t drop the soap.
Until next time, this has been SimplyScott1/PowerSentai. Stay imaginative!
