TOOT-TOOT RESSHA SENTAI TOQGER. Let’s go! Today’s episode is entitled: “The Rainbow Pass.”
Starting back from the last episode, the ToQgers have lost their imaginations except for Right. The rainbow fleet has to leave due to the darkness levels at the now taken over train station so Right chases after his wayward companions!
Right finds a non-combative Lamp Shadow who wants to explain things.
Lamp Shadow tells Right to sit his ass down and listen. Lamp Shadow explains that he emits a hypnosis dark energy light (like a black light) that causes people to lose their imaginations and that this is Zed’s experiment on “shinning.”
We find Tokatti working in an office, Haikari going to graduate school, Mio as a police officer, and Kagura as a model.
At the Shadow Line base, Zed makes his big debut and it’s awkward. haha Zed leaves the base because he wants more shinning! HIS LIFE IS SO HARD.
On a random bus, Grita continues to runaway. I LIKE THAT NO ONE NOTICES HER (or they can’t see her).
Right tries to get the rest of the ToQgers to remember their imaginations, but it falls on deaf ears.
As Right sulks in a park, the Shadow Line appears. I love the Shadow Line announcer and such.
Zed appears and sends Lamp Shadow to attack Right. The experiment was to see how long Right’s “shinning” would last without his friends and team members.
Lamp Shadow hurts Right enough to demorph and right before he kills him…
…The ToQgers find their old paper rainbow passes and begin to remember…
…Who then save him from death!
The ToQgers are back together and have IMAGINATIONS again.
Grita appears and wants to shank Zed so she doesn’t have to marry him. GIRL YOU A BIG PURPLE BLOB, NO TREE GONNA HIDE YOU. And is that a letter opener? Get your shit together Grita.
Zed calls out Grita’s murder plans, but is then fascinated bu Grita’s shinning eyes. I’m so done with this plot. REALLY. REALLY??!
This week’s Coupling Bazooka Rainbow Rush attack is “Fire Bucket.” The monster didn’t even get it. So that’s fun.
Lamp Shadow grows and with imaginations at an all time high, the ToQgers call upon Cho ToQ-Oh. I love the combining sequence and trains graphic behind it when it’s finished.
Cho ToQ-Oh’s final attack is Full Burst Finish with bulleting trains and everything!
They didn’t know how to finish this week’s episode, so they posed with food. hahahahaha
Next week we get to meet the fire engine ressha!
Review
I really enjoyed this episode! Great plot, Cho ToQ-Ohs debut, more Zed-ness, and my personal favorite, making fun of Grita! I’m curious where they’ll go with Zed…. Will he become the 7th ToQger eventually? (ToQZero or ToQ7 depending on some info we’ve seen.) How will ToQ6 make his entrance? Anyways, thoughts for another day. I give this episode a 7.5 out of 10!
Until next time, this has been SimplyScott1/PowerSentai. Stay imaginative!
