Kyoryuger! Go-Busters!

New ToQger toys continue to hit store shelves in Japan with the release of the first two Sentai resshas: Kyoryuger, and Go-Busters! These ressha replace ToQ-Ichigo’s red ressha on ToQ-Oh to form some past Sentai mecha! The Kyoryuger ressha forms a modified Kyoryjin, with the head for Gabutyra becoming the chest, instead of the shoulder like in Kyoryuger. The Go-Busters ressha takes the form of Go-Buster Ace when combined with ToQ-Oh.

I love how Bandai has taken the idea of giving us past Sentai mecha motifs with this year’s ressha gimmick. Ranger keys paid homage to all of the past Sentai teams, and now the Sentai ressha pay homage to their megazords. While they only capture the Red ranger zord of the season, the ressha do a good job of representing their respective Sentai seasons. Bandai has already announced more ressha to be released including Goseiger, Gokaiger and Go-Onger in the future. I really hope we get one for each Sentai season! The next ressha to be released is the Den-O ressha, from Kamen Rider Den-O, and it should be available in May. Both the Kyoryuger and Go-Busters resshas retail for ¥1200 each, with import sites already offering them at below retail price.
