Kideo is an interesting company that allows the user to upload a picture of themselves or of others to super-impose their image over the face of a character in 3D and add it to footage! In this case, you can now become a Power Ranger Samurai!
“For the first time ever, you get to become Jayden, the Red Samurai Ranger, or Mia,
the Pink Samurai Ranger, and team up to help fight against evil when the Nighloks
rejoin forces. Become the star of the action as you work with other rangers by fighting
and combining the Folding Zords to form the Samurai Megazord. The strongest
Nighloks are waiting, including Scorpionic, Moogers, Dayu, Rhinosnorus and Xandred
and you need to help keep the mortal realm safe from evil.
Are you up to the challenge?”
Includes action sequences from original episodes: Origins, Jayden’s Challenge & Broken Dreams

In this case, you can chose to do a Free Version of the Video or you can have the video MUCH longer and either added to a DVD for $29.99 or a cloud-access Download for $19.99.
I recommend trying the FREE Version first and then decide if you are happy with the end product!
I chose the Download version and set to work. Here’s a little look at what I had to do.
This is the image of myself I took during, I have a slight shadow over my eyes. I see it now.
I Chose the Red Ranger and it has you take a picture of yourself and it has you make sure that they “+” signs are all on the correct spaces on your face. After this process is complete they video begins its processing!
I waited an hour or so and a link was sent to my email with instructions on how to download the video!
The video is 27 Minutes long of several clips from Power Rangers Samurai Episodes!
I downloaded the video and watched, here are a few screen caps of what I got:
I have the finished video in my archives, though I am not sure if I am going to share it with everyone or not.
Final Notes & Review:
I have to recommend this service for children more than for adults. I’m not quite sure if I incorrectly placed the “+” marks on my face or if the lighting was wrong or if my face is just jenky. However, you can see that the face placed onto Alex Heartman’s looks strained, sim-like and at times Texas Chainsaw Massacre-esque. I place the fault on myself, I must have dome something wrong. My skin tone is completely off from Alex’s tanned skin in HD and for some reason I either have eye-shadow on or have missed a few nights of sleep.
Though I must say it was awesome to see my eyes in the mask before the Samurai helmet comes on!
The technology is actually pretty cool and I’m sure that your children will end up loving such a thing especially if it is as a gift!
It is rather interesting to see your face on someone else’s body performing Ranger activities!
So if you have a Christmas or Birthday present to buy for that favorite Kid Samurai Ranger fan in your house or family, then consider getting them a DVD! I am sure they would love it.
