News is spreading like a virus throughout the Power Ranger community! A recent letter sent out to the individuals who have auditioned for “Power Rangers Gosei” aka Season 19 of the popular franchise explaining that the season will instead cast in 2012 and not continue into 2011.
Iris Hampton, the casting director for Power Rangers sent out this letter:

POWER RANGERS (Memo from Iris Hampton)
Non-Union Episodic
Dear all agents who participated in the Power Ranger casting process,
We want to express our sincere thanks to your clients who recently auditioned for Power Rangers’ 2013 season and provide you with a quick update. Since we will be celebrating our 20th anniversary season in 2013, we have decided to elevate the season’s creative to entirely new heights. This will require us to commence production in 2012 rather than 2011. We hope that the great talent we met during our recent auditions will still be available when we recommence casting and promise that you will be the first to know when that will occur. At this time, we plan to resume the casting process March to early April 2012.
With kind regards and respect,
Iris Hampton
Power Ranger Casting Director”
Good Lord! What could this mean for the adaptation for Goseiger? Is it that they are skipping Goseiger all together; and going straight for the Gokaiger adaptation for the 20th anniversary? OR is it that they want to keep the casting for the 20th Anniversary Goseiger adaptation closer to the air dates?
Not to mention, what could “elevate the season’s creative to entirely new heights” mean? All I can say is that that sounds amazing and I hope whatever comes next is the best that Power Rangers can offer!
Whatever it means, it means something big! What do you think this means? Sound off in the comments and in the GRID!
