A topic once thought dead was brought up again on the Ranger message boards this week. The controversy over the pricing of Autographs & Pictures of the Guests at Morphicon was brought up once more.
I call it a controversy because it appears as if fans are getting upset over this announcement.
Here is an image provided by the Official Morphicon Message Boards:
- There are no prices listed here because each individual guest will determine their own pricing structure should they choose to do so.
The arguments on the boards began soon after the image was posted; reigniting a flame long thought dead.
- On one side, people are angered that you would have to pay for either to take a picture with the guest or even take a picture of them. Since these are hard times, guests are annoyed that they will have yet another charge added to their budget.
- While, on the other side fans argue that the guest have a right to charge and this is not a debate at other conventions. They argue that the stars are taking time out of their own lives to come to spend time with us at their own cost.
- Morphicon representatives also stated that the A la carte menu is tentative, and some guests may choose not to charge for certain items.
What do you think?
I wanna Hear from you!
Are you angry about the charges?
Will this affect you going to Morphicon?
If a Guest charges too much, will you not approach them?
